I ignored that text

words on a page

danced that dance

he said

I have to be honest

an eraser

like quicksand

Illuminated

before all the hurt

if I could rip out a page

memories of you go asunder

Lustful abandon

uncertainty

At times I'm impatient, with no need to rush

flaws embraced, wanton desires of perfection erased

misconstrued

I thought I knew better

Reaffirmation

A heartbeat

In too deep

my biggest fear is being alone

a lot on my mind

Question existing

I'm starting to see

I'm lost in a never ending maze

I'm not stupid, but this situation is

The relationship backbone

Late night, mind adrift
